
Java Developer Senior
Description
Role Purpose
• Design and develop the logic and backend systems of the product.
• Collaborate with the frontend team in designing and developing efficient and high-performance APIs.
• Implement unit tests, integration tests, and automated tools to ensure software quality.
• Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security standards (OWASP Top 10).
• Propose improvements to prevent errors and optimize solutions.
• Integrate legacy systems and work with databases.
• Generate technical documentation to facilitate API integration.
• Monitor the performance of the developed services and validate business flows.
What are we looking for?
Technical Requirements
• +6 years of experience in backend development.
• Solid experience in Java and development of RESTful services.
• +2 years of experience with Node.js.
• Knowledge of design patterns and clean code principles.
• Experience with Kafka for event streaming.
• Knowledge of GraphQL (desirable).
• Experience working with high-quality, secure, and maintainable applications.
• Experience in agile environments (1–2 years) and direct client interactions.
• Experience in projects within the financial sector.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud and its services (Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, AKS, DevOps) (desirable).
• Experience integrating databases and legacy systems (plus).
• Knowledge in AI (RAG, chatbots, Azure AI, GPT-4) (plus).
